Hey guys, I got a seriously annoying problim which I can't seem to fix.
Earlier tonight my Windows 7 start orb changed into a big grey box when I clicked on it.

    This:

Killing the Explorer or rebooting the PC didn't do the trick.
Also, the button always stays on the same spot.

And when I change the Windows style, the button also changes but stays abnormally huge.
It's like that thing overlaps the original orb.

Tried to google an answer but that wasn't much of a success. All I can find are start orb programs. On that note: No, not even these can't make the big button go away. Already tried that.

Has anyone an idea what the hell that is? :(

Did you fiddle with the original theme files? Did you install any new themes or used that theme-patcher?

Or do you use any kind of third party theme software, such as WindowsBlind or something similar?

I asked him that too and he said he didn't.

It could be some program you are running in the background that is causing the issue.

in this case the user found the glass2k program he was using to be the culprit

    Hm this is weird.
Since I started my PC this morning it didn't appear again.
Even after another restart it was gone. I guess it's gone for good.

Anyway, I really appreciate your help, guys. Thank you!
