Just like the Firefox topic. I'm trying to set up Chrome so I can work with it just like I do with Firefox.

So if you use Chrome, let me/us know what extensions you use. Personally, I am looking for extensions that
make the design more compact (Chrome's buttons are huge, address bar is very large) and that make dealing
with tabs (especially closed tabs) easier. Things like that I am particularly interested in but I'll take everything
    you have :D.

    Fire away.

    For now, I use DNT+ and Ad-Block ^^

Nothing for UI, though. I find it okay for my taste.

Old topic I know, but Ive been using this for a while and I dont remember posting it.

    Smooth Scroll

Does what it says on the tin, I dont like the look of jerky scrolling so this makes it feel more 'smart phone' and smooth.

I'm gonna add my extensions in this case as well.

Adblock and Adblock Plus - I got them both. Yes, I HATE ads that much. Works like a charm.
Blur (Formerly known as DNT+) - Hides me from those stupid Google analytics/FB/Twitter whatever bullshit, so I also don't see that annoying content.
    Hola - VPN client
Hover Zoom - I don't have to click on the thumnail image to see it, this plug in gives me a quick preview in a seperate window if I hover on the image. I can disable it separately for each website if I don't want it. Works with Imgur, Flickr albums and many more sites. If there's an URL to the image - this can preview it. Very handy.
Magic Actions for YouTube - as a heavy YouTube user, this makes my life easier a lot better. Gives way more setting for your YouTube player, for example control Autoplay, comments, volume (with a mouse scroll), better video streaming etc. Also has a night mode, makes the YT black. And black is just better. For everything, on everything.

    Edit:

Thanks for sharing that, bastard. I added it to my Chrome and it makes it a lot nicer.

Your list isn't much different from mine. Glad you like it- I think the iPhone preset was best from what I remember...

    Streamkeys

Added this recently so I can skip/pause tracks in youtube from any browser window using my keyboard media keys. Also works on many other media sites.

Which ad blocking extension are you guys using these days? Ive always used adblock plus, but recently Ive found sometimes it crashes pages giving me the 'Aw snap!' error message. I use Adblock (the one with the hand icon) at work and this doesnt seem to crash out Spotify like Adblock plus does.

That's odd. I use Adblock Plus and the Anti-Banner feature built into my AV. The only crashes I
ever experience happen when a page tries to display too many .gif files. If your browser crashes
frequently, I'm willing to wager that it's a different extension that's causing it. My version of Chrome
    is Version 51.0.2704.79 m (lol).

Since my post earlier Adblock has also done it. I suspect it may be my Kaspersky extension being a bit aggressive...

You can try uBlock Origin (also available for Firefox) which should be lighter about cpu/ram use than other adblock

    Adblock is loosing it's effectiveness
more and more websites are detecting one using the addon and will not load unless you disable it.

What are you guys using to trick silly websites?

I know B is half-joking, but this is exactly what I do. As soon as the website asks me to disable my adblock, I stop visiting it.

Also try uBlock Origin, it's much better than AB or ABP now.

I usually do that but sometimes a particular site is the only source
