If AMD doesn't get bought, this will be the future releases.

    Zen CPUs in 2016.

also in 2016 they will be releasing Arctic Islands GPUs based on HBM2

I really really hope these components bring performance increase, that way AMD can get out of the hole they are currently in.
I will certainly build a system with such parts if that happens; a way to support them

The future of AMD looks quite bright with Ryzen processors and subsequent Vega GPU release, plus GPU licensing to Intel and Console business
Initially I had my doubts on the CEO Lisa T. Su but I have become a believer, she is doing an amazing job fixing AMD problems left by the former CEO Hector Ruiz

A lot of people are pre-ordering the upcoming processor, which is good to see :)

    Indeed it does!

Can't wait to see independent reviews and lower tier CPUs!

I won't go and sell my gear and get AMD anytime soon, but I am very happy to finally see healthy competition in CPU market again. I hope prices will be going down in general in upcoming years.

Heh, even If I wanted to sell my Intel system, resell prices crashed.

I do plan to go with a Ryzen 1800X system once Vega releases, to support AMD.

With Ryzen released, the future looks bright for AMD even more so with Epyc and Threadripper CPUs
not to mention Ryzen APUs will released later this year for laptops

This is an Amazon problem where they they don't bother to check returns throughly. Amazon has been selling returned items as new for a long time and some people go to great lengths to scam them.

Intel CPUs and video cards have also been affected in the past. I don't recall the exact product but it happened to me too from an Amazon order.

This is just two CPUs and Intel fanboys or Intel themselves are doing their best to spread nonsense
