As I booted up the PC this morning, I received a notification about an updated version of Samsung Magician.
The UI changes they've made are awful. It looks very Windows 10 now and you get less information from the
    tests and optimizations.

What is this? Doing the test with the old version would tell you if your SSD was in good condition or not. Now
I get numbers I have to research myself? What is this garbage?

They've added at least 2 somewhat new features but this is what I'm most concerned about.

I don't ever use the Magician software so I haven't been aware of the changes they've made. That said, your random write speed is sluggish for the 850 EVO; it's advertised as 90k IOPS. Dunno why though!

    Aha!
So you admit you don't like Win 10 :p

I don't like the changes either, the new GUI royally sucks.
I wonder what Samsung is smoking

40k to 100k IOPs is considered normal for Samsung EVOs.
There is a reason why they only state "Up To" 90k IOPs
