I sort of completed the build, just need to connect the fans, add fans to exhaust the air on the top section of the case and then do cable management.
The AMD heatsink installation was more complicated than I thought it would be and I ended up breaking the plastic lock handle. It turns out the actual instructions on how to install the heatsink are found in the motherboard manual instead of the heatsink manual :rage:
damn it AMD, you had one job.

upon boot up, I ran into the usual memory comparability problem. I had to remove all the memory stick and only leave one in memory slot two (had to look it up in the manual)
once the system boot up, I upgraded the BIOS to the latest version and then I could install the rest of the memory sticks.

Notice I have different memory, Ryzen prefers higher speed memory, the previous ram was lower speed.

    Working on some cable management.
The case makes it a challenge and the PSU power cables don't help.
removed case outside panels to install fans on the top, work in process

    yeah, is coming up good.
I need to buy fans that are installed by push pins since I can't install fans with standard screws on the top due to the components already installed.
I should have installed the top fans before I installed everything else

I just ordered Noiseblocker fans to replaced the ones that came with the case since they are loud. It seems be quiet! personnel put the high speed models instead of the low RPM ones

It turns out the case amplifies noise :/
the hard drives sound like drums when they are being accessed

I ended up returning the Vega 64 card
frames fluctuate a lot and once the card get's hot, it throttles.

I will wait for the refresh to complete the all AMD system early next year
for now, it will have a 1080 ti

That piece of Nvidia hardware is just gonna get bullied in that school of AMD kids!

The clearance between the 1080 Ti and the HD cage is tight

it fits, but I am sort of uncomfortable with one of the fans of the GPU sitting right above the cage; if the card sags then that fan is going to get damage.

The plastic cover should stick out enough so that the card would come to rest on that rather than on the fans.

But you could probably find a washer thick enough to place it there somewhere. Not the most elegant solution though.

The plastic shroud is almost at the level of the outer fans so there is barely protection to the fan from external objects.

Since I will be replacing the case stock fans I will take advantage and also move the hard drives to the shorter cage to give more clearance to the video card.
