I have to agree with you on that, The sequel to Independence day was ridiculous bad.
They copied a lot of scenes from the original movie and the roles of the original characters were a joke.
    Bad acting, dialogue and editing
The plot was already super cheesy and when they introduced the sphere it was just Godzilla Facepalm

I have to wait for The Foreigner to be available on Netflix or rental since is not available yet, only option is to purchase which I don't want to do right now at full price.

    anyhow

I watched Keeping with the Joneses, good comedy movie with decent story.
Gal Gadot and Isla Fisher are a treat in this movie :D

The Big Short is an good movie; They did a good job at injecting comedy to the sensitive subject of the financial crisis. It was interesting to know the stuff going on behind the scenes before the crisis happened.

    I watched Hacksaw Ridge recently
Great WWII movie with good character development, story and acting.
This one takes place on the Pacific side

Rented Ghost In The Shell on Amazon today.
I really enjoyed the movie and I never seen the anime about it before watching.
I agree, movie has great visuals and sound effects.
    Hopefully there is a sequel.

The original is a classic and a good movie even if you're not a fan of anime. Give it a go sometime!

This is a really dumb movie . It's the kind that's still enjoyable with a beer though.
The best actress in this movie is a little girl.

I was ready for a teenage horror movie, but this movie surprised me more than once. It's not at all what you'd expect.

    Thanks for the recommendation, bastardo!

Garbage. The main Jigsaw story bit was interesting, but everything around that was cheap and sloppy. Waste of time.

Was alright. Had a few good scenes, so even though Bruce Willis only has a small role, it wasn't too bad.

Jordan Peele's (of the Key and Peele comedy duo) movie Get Out has been nominated for Oscars.

If you haven't yet, you should go watch that movie. One of the best I've seen in 2017. Don't read
up on it - just go watch it.

They kind of spoiled it for me when they were running trailer advertisements during the Xmas break and showed too much.

It's still worth watching, I'd say.

I didn't think much of it for the first half of the movie, but it became quite interesting after that.
The setting is really cool, I wish they'd do more with it. A game would be awesome.

I think the dialogs were the weakest part. I could've written better dialog for 20% of this movie,
but overall it's a decent watch if you're a Batman fan.

I watched the first part of Godzilla: Planet of Monsters on Netflix last night.
Movie is alright, a bit cheesy at times.
The girl/woman giving status updates on ships in the English audio is annoying

This suddenly released on Netflix following a Superbowl ad. I was very excited.

It started off great with decent characters but it became a somewhat generic sci-fi space movie
that didn't answer any questions. In fact, I have more now than I did when I started watching. It
looked good, but I was hoping for answers that - again - we did not get. Sadface.

Solid thriller with a pretty good cast. Nor your usual horror movie suspects. I enjoyed it.

It was alright. The setting's very nice but the gun action looks fake because no-one knows what recoil is.
