There is a petition going on about telling Disney to revoke EA's Star Wars license

    Sign the Petition

I signed, it might not happen but it sends a message.
EA hasn't made a worthwhile Star Wars game in a very long time.

I had a thought the other day. Just give every single franchise to CDPR. Problem solved.

Not only them, Bethesda and Take-Two would do a lot of better job than EA

    Hell no.

Well, better maybe, but not the best. Take-Two have their grubby hands all over looktboxes at the moment and
Bethesda is trying to sell mods to console players. They're shadows of their former selves. I'm glad Dishonored
concluded before they all lost their minds.

There is exactly one so-called AAA developer that would get a thumbs up from me these days. All other developers
and publishers that I think off in a positive way are either independent studios or something in-between like Ninja
    Theory.

I've been playing Far Cry 5 since Friday. It takes place is Montana, USA, and is really chaotic. I've played enough
to liberate a bigger region from a religious cult, so that area has calmed down a little now. I've just been driving
around, hiking, and looking for doomsday prepper caches.

The cult confiscated this truck, so I was sent on a mission to get it back. USA paint and machine guns on the front. U S A!

They never should've given me the keys to this truck. I'm so sorry! :nailb:

Anyone wanna join me and check out the testy festy? I hear it's a hoot!

    RAT-TATTA-TAT! Explosion!! :woot:

After such an explosive mission, it's time to relax and do some fishing.

    Success! :snappy:

Now, to hunt some animals on land. With the help of good boy Boomer. Such a good boy.

Time to take it to the skies and bomb some of the bad people!

Gotta work on my helicopter landing a bit. I may have knocked something over and almost burned someone's house down.

Being part of civilization clearly doesn't work, so I think we'll just go hiking again instead, far away from everyone else.

My drive back into town ended prematurely. Gonna bring an all-wheel-drive car next time.

Bears have something against me! I didn't hit any of these animals on purpose. Wildlife is crazy.

It's a new morning in Big Sky Country.

... and it looks great at night as well - especially from up high.

I got shot with a poisoned arrow and drugged. It was a hell of a trip.

Having survived that, I thought it was best to stay away from people and just go out into the wild again.

To make sure I don't get blindsided again, I've brought my hunting buddy, Jess.

    Trying out a new scope.

Around noon, when the hunter gets hungry, he ventures into some of the populated areas to stalk his prey.

Sometimes, a bow is just now going to cut it. Sometimes, you need a grenade launcher to stop a group of thieving cultists on ATVs.

And when a grenade launcher is not good enough, a few miniguns mounted to the sides of a small helicopter do the job.

Back on the ground, I came across a small lake and went fishing.

Some boar meat should go well with the fi--- THERE'S A BEAR BEHIND THE BOAR!

Bears can't climb, so now we're hiking.

    At the brink of vertigo.

I did a test recording of me taking over a very small outpost. I had to setup background recording for our co-op sessions.

It's an underground cave I found while exploring near hot springs. Looked really cool indeed.

I have 100% completed Assassin's Creed. It's a great and stunning game that I enjoyed very much. There is still
room for improvement but it exceeded my expectations and revitalized the franchise a bit. I look forward to seeing
what's next. I'm still hoping that AC will someday travel to China or Japan.

I have also finished the story mode of Far Cry 5. The Montana region is really cool and very pretty, combat is fun,
and you can get up to crazy co-op shenanigans with a friend. Plus, you can run around with a dog and cougar buddy!

Here are a few very short clips of random funny stuff I recorded while playing:

And here's a collection of fun clips during a co-op session with bastard:

I don't know yet if I'm gonna get the season pass with the 3 expansions. Might wait a little and get it for a good price.

In other gaming news, GOG.com has added player profiles now - they can also be seen and modified in their Galaxy client.
GOG is quickly become more appealing than Steam and all the hack developer bullshit that's put on Steam's front page
every day. Might just buy my big games on GOG from now on. Those player profiles track achievements, playtime mile
stones and all kinds of stuff. It's really pretty.
