Great screens, really looking forward to trying out ansel
The new XCOM 2 expansion is fantastic. I just finished another playthrough of the game using the new
factions, weapons, research bonuses etc. The amount of content that exists for this game now is amazing.
I think I paid about 80 € for the game plus the DLC and got over 280 hours of playtime out of it all. I wasn't
even into this genre when I tried the first new XCOM game, Enemy Unknown. Now, it's one of my favorite
game series. The amount of things to do and see in XCOM 2 and this DLC is almost Witcher-level.
One of the new additions is a photo mode that's supposed to be a light-hearted counterpart of the alien
propaganda. Basically, it's just a funny thing to play with after a mission. You can take pictures of your
squad and put them into different poses and locations, add text to the photo, apply filters, change colors
etc. You can take these photos yourself or have the game generate a few random ones. The latter often
results in clashing colors but it's not supposed to be a super serious thing, so here are a few of those pics.
Some are generated by the game, some are slightly edited by me.
Nice screens from that photomode Speaking of photomodes, I tested the ROTR freecam tool tonight - I am really liking it and I will definitely be taking some more shots!
That seems like a really interesting mod. I'll have to give it a shot when I try to finish the DLC missions this week.
For now though, I'm gonna enjoy my vacation!
Just kidding. Nice place to visit, but I wouldn't wanna live there. Too many unexplained murders.
You made me search the Karnaca name to figure out which game you were playing
Regarding Tomb Raider, is a shame they have not announced any news about the next game, Shadow of The Tomb Raider.
Doesn't look like they will announce anything this year since there are no more gaming conventions until early next year.
I was also expecting some news about it, seeing how everyone expected it to be released in early 2018.
With this, Dishonored is officially done. At least with this set of characters. I really, really enjoyed these
games and I hope they will one day either reboot it or introduce a new set of characters. I'd prefer the
I've played through this expandalone twice and it took me 25 hours. A very fine end to a great franchise.
Good-bye, Dishonored. At least for now.
Moar games! Turns out, Tekken 7 has Ansel support now.

Is that a clue?

Fantastic pics. Man, we had a pretty good time in Wildlands.
Thanks Figga! We sure did have a good few sessions in GR:W. In an effort to clear my screenshots folder, heres some more! @StickyFinga might want to avoid these if you don't want to see any of the ROTR expedition mansion level. Plus theres a few screens of the end game if anyone wants to avoid it.
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Below spoiler includes end game sequence
And the ROTR expedition mansion level below
This looks really damn good!
Is just ridiculous that they are still not bringing this series to PC, hence my interest in this game is zero
My thoughts exactly. And unlike with GTA, I wouldn't even buy this if it came out on PC in 2019.
We've been playing a bit of Destiny this week. It took me a while to set up an automated screenshot thingie,
so here are a few shots from last time. Next time there'll hopefully be more.
in the first screen bastard looks like he blew himself up
Close. We went through a corridor that was secured by laser trip mines. Dashing through them worked
just fine and then we got to watch the pretty fireworks. The game does a lot with bright colors and particle
effects but it does look pretty great and as long as it runs fine, I don't really mind. It's fun.
I've been playing a lot of AC Origins. The game is absolutely massive. I've played it for 22 hours so far and
I'm at 41% completion. I've only discovered about a third of the map and I still have a ton of places to go.
AC Origins looks fantastic, too. It sometimes dips into the 50s, but most of the time it runs at 60 FPS while
looking great. Everything you see in the follow screenshots, you can go to. It was great seeing the pyramids
from a distance and actually climbing up one after a few more hours of playtime.
It sure looks nice
what's going on with that sail on the boat in the second picture, it looks like is going invisible
The sails on some of the small boats are pretty big. So when traveling fast, the game makes them somewhat
see-through. This helps a lot with navigating while not removing them entirely because that would look weird.
It's a neat feature and I'm glad it's in the game.
This reason it might look strange in that shot is because I used the game's photo mode and then changed
the camera angle to take a picture. The see-through sail is necessary from the player's point of view, but
when the camera angle changes it might come across as weird-looking.
Is great to see the community backlash against EA with the bullshit they tried to pull with Star Wars Battlefront II.
The future doesn't look bright for Bioware Anthem game if EA is going keep doing this nonsense
Unless EA changes it's business plan, which I doubt, I will not be buying any of their games on release.
It seems every new game from them has loot boxes that one needs to pay to unlock.
Only way I will buy the games is when they release the version with everything included during sales.
