Very astute, sir :p. I did take it easy, especially during the longer one of the two stages. The Opel is a fairly large rear-wheel drive
rally car. So you have less space on the track and if you carelessly put a rear wheel on the grass, you're likely to go for a spin. So
racing cleanly is a decent strategy in this car class. You can attack the track much more with modern, small, all-wheel drive cars.

The main reason I drove so carefully though was that one of my sponsors would pay me more if I completed one or more clean
stages during that particular event. So I tried to do a clean run and get a bit of extra money. :D

Will let you know the minute I hear something about potential DLC.

Thanks for checking out the videos, guys! The first one I had to upload 4 times .

I am with Bastard, I will wait until the game is discounted; I have gotten all previous DiRT games when they were on sale.
I think I have played every DiRT game one, possibly two times then forget about it

I don't think you guys will get anything out of this game. Though if that sends more money to the devs, I'm okay with that. :p

I won't buy Wolfenstein: The New Colossus until they remove the geolock on the Steam download. That usually happens about 3 months
after release. Before that, unlucky gamers in Germany would either need to buy the altered German version that contains different logos,
changed names of the antagonist faction, and can only be played in German - or activate and download the game using a VPN. Looking at
the average size of patches these days, that would be a pain. So I'm not going to buy the new Wolfenstein game anytime soon.

Instead, I decided to finish The Old Blood. I got close to the end last time but never actually finished it. Once I'm done with that, I'll replay
    The New Order.

When all hell breaks lose, game becomes a bit spooky specially that section where you didn't have all your gear

I really like sections like that though. It's fun to accumulate a decent arsenal, but if you're just loot-hoarding,
you end up with an insane amount of weapons and ammo that can shift the difficulty in a way that makes
    things boring.

So when they decide to just say Eff it! and give you 2 bullets, you go take someone out, grab their rifle, take
out two more guys, grab their weapons, fire until empty and so on. I think it's awesome! :D

I've recorded another DiRT 4 video, but it's only a short one because I wanted to show off how dark it gets
sometimes. The vehicle I'm using is an old Lancia - I absolutely hated this one in DiRT Rally, so I wanted to
challenge myself by trying it out again.

Okay, I suppose that's enough DiRT for a while. I'll be taking a break from it, too.

I've been playing a little of Mirror's Edge. Just focusing on running and some kicking.

And while I'm at it, here are some random screenshots from our first big co-op adventure in Rise Of The Tomb Raider.
I apologize for the blurriness - I forgot to turn off motion blur. While I find it quite nice during gaming, it's not ideal for
    screenshots.

I've been playing some more Mafia. The game has a lot more features now than when it came out.

I don't know. The only issues I ran into were blurry textures at 1080p (fixed) and that the game can't seem to
reach 60 frames per second with all the settings at max, which is unfortunately still an issue. Are you thinking
    of anything specific?

I recalled the game being plagued by glitches as shown in this video and many others

Interesting. Except for the wiggly corpses that might still happen if you stuff them in a corner
and the no-reflection mirrors which they fixed, I've never seen any of these glitches before. Not
    even in the beginning.

I've seen all the season pass content now, so after 66 hours I've officially finished my Mafia 3
playthrough. Overall, I liked it and I'm glad I played it. Things that stood out to me were the story,
cutscene animations, atmosphere, music, car and weapon sounds, and the voice acting.

Things I didn't like were the quality of the engine and the PC port. The game doesn't run at 60
with all settings turned up to the max even though it should. The game was originally released
as a 30 FPS game. Whenever a developer does this and claims they'll patch in 60 FPS later, don't
    trust them.

I don't mind busywork as much as other people do in video games, but this game is 70% repetitive
tasks, so you have to be creative and change your approach for certain missions in order to keep the
fun going and keep the game from growing stale.

The season pass content overall was a bit disappointing. The content itself is nice but there's not
enough of it. I'm glad I didn't pay the full price for it. I'm still glad I played this game and hope we'll
see a fourth Mafia game with an improved engine at some point.

Lastly, I wouldn't have called it Mafia III. The overall feel of the game is different to the previous
games. While the whole black mob thing is interesting, calling it Mafia: New Bordeaux would've
    been a better idea IMHO.

Yeah, the negative points you posted about the game is what keeping me from ever buying it.
2K should sell the IP to someone who cares about the franchise and do a proper reboot.

You never know how much someone cares about it until the game is out, unfortunately.
I followed the development of this game quite closely and it all sounded pretty good. So
yeah, the game has its flaws but I found myself being drawn in again by the combat and
the driving mechanics. I've started a second playthrough because of that and I'll try to get
    all the missing achievements.

I've eliminated the super menial collection tasks with a trainer (Can't remember the last time
I actually used one!), so this second playthrough gives me a bit more freedom and I can now
tackle the season pass DLC before finishing the main story. Which in turn opens up a few more
possibilities for the end game missions.

    Spammity spam spam!

I've played 3 hours of Hellblade yesterday. It's quite the experience. You always have 2 to 4 voices talking to you at the same
time instead of seeing button prompts on screen - of which there are none. Zero. There's a lot of walking but the fights have
started to become really fun and quite intimidating. The game doesn't tell you much; you have to figure many things out on your
own. The voices help, but they can also mess with you. While trying to figure out a puzzle, after a few minutes one started telling
me She's never going to find it. She's lost. :D

It's a very different game but I'm loving it. Put the headphones on to get the voices talking to you from all possible directions and
darken the room to enjoy the visuals. Animations are nice, Nvidia Ansel support is freaking dope, and I'm looking forward to playing
    more of it.

I've also recorded a video of me exploring a part of one of two starting levels and getting into some fights. It's 13 minutes but
it's worth sticking around! At the end, I'm rushing the fight a bit because I wasn't sure how much time the game would give me to
escape. Make sure you have the volume turned up a bit to get a glimpse of the sound atmosphere of thegame. Thanks for watching. :D

Thanks man, I absolutely agree! Gonna try and capture a few more moments.

While I usually just darken my room a little bit and play games with my 5.1 system turned up,
this game absolutely needs to be played in the dark with headphones. If you don't, you might
    as well not bother.

I just came back from a 90 minute session I started at 22:00. I'm in love with this game. Even though
it seems I missed 3 lore collectibles and found about 27. But I was going to replay the game eventually,
anyway. I'm 5+ hours in and unlocked 5 out of 14 achievements so far. I reckon I'm about halfway done.

One of the main reasons I used headphones every time I play games, they make games more immersive in my opinion
    Nice screens

I've been playing some more Hellblade every couple of evenings with 2 achievements left after
8 hours of playtime. It's still fantastic and my favorite gaming experience so far this year. I'm in
the process of ordering a custom print for my wall.

I've also finished my second playthrough of Mafia. I did not expect to play this game for 110 hours,
seeing how it's not really what we expected and wanted. But I enjoy the combat, driving, and sound
effects too much that I felt myself drawn to those mechanics - kind of how it was when I played DiRT
Rally almost every day for a year. So yeah, it's not perfect and sometimes repetitive but worth playing.
Especially now that it's much better than it was at launch.

I've finished MIrror's Edge Catalyst. I've completed all story and side missions, but not all of the time trial runs around the city. It
took me 17 hours to do that - which is quite surprising. I expected this game wouldn't be longer than 8 or 9 hours. Mirror's Edge
Catalyst looks fantastic. The running is still fun - even if they took away basic abilities at the start which I had to unlock via upgrades -
and the fighting can be quite fun if you stay in motion and don't stop running to try to fight everyone immediately. Once in a while,
you even get a cool finishing move. Sometimes, they use the third person camera for that; sometimes they use first person. It's quite
neat. The open world collectibles, however, are uninspired and boring - most of them anyway. I think it was a mistake to make it an
    open world game.

The Nvidia features are very cool though. Ansel is fantastic. The controls are still a bit clunky but you can get some really nice shots.

Overall, definitely worth the 5 bucks I spent. It's an OK game. I think they wasted half the potential that was there after the first game.
The story is actually not terrible but the game is somewhat tainted by the boring open world elements that every game has.
