    That laptop is just ridiculous
    Anyway.

Also looking forward to Vega GPUs.
Hopefully they are competitive because Nvidia is getting away with highway robbery on the high-end.

I am thinking of building an all AMD system with Ryzen and Vega.

The only problem right now are the prices of DDR4 memory. Prices have gone up thanks to smartphones using DDR4 chips; Heck DDR3 memory is cheaper

I ended up cancelling the 960 Pro order after reading that there is no improvement in real world scenarios

The problem now is NAND shortage which will cause price increase of SSDs and consequently DRAM
NAND Shortage Delays Samsung 850 Pro 4TB

Hopefully you guys are not planning on upgrading components this year or else you will end up paying more.

Just to give you an example of crazy DDR4 memory prices.
The memory I bought for my system was $250 and now is $425, a 70% increase! and most likely it will keep going up.

I hate how many different variations there are at the moment. The sad part is the pricing and how it doesn't work out evenly in all parts of the world.

Do we really need a NEW processor with a 100MHz increase?

Having a choice is good, but it's getting a bit silly.

There are reports of Intel going back to their dirty tactics in trying to undermine AMD.
    Contacting review sites etc.

I wouldn't be surprised if this is true, this Intel after all

AMD Ryzen is released and reviews are out there

is nice to see AMD competing
It will be interesting to see how the 6 and 4 core Ryzen cpus will perform

For now, I will wait until the platform matures a little before getting into the AMD platform.

AMD is preparing to release Naples for the server market.
judging by the platform specifications, is going to bring competition to Intel.
I really hope they do well here because the server market is where the money is made.
Doing well will help AMD put more funds to R&D
