Hehe, you may laugh Apple haters. I have an issue with iTunes and Vista. It's Data Execution Prevention (hey btw, whats this serious named shit doing in my PC) blocking iTunes. Previous action was install of Quick Time alternative which is Apple product and Real Player.

    Here's a list I did:
    1. iTunesHelper Module has stopped working.
    2. Pop-up comes in: Data Execution Prevention (DEP) blocks the program because it hates it and thinks it has a Virus.
    3. I open DEP settings and it has no iTunes listed there, cannot add it there and delete it from DEP blocking list.
    4. Relaunch iTunes (maybe itll go) but no it says iTunes has stopped working.
    5. Reinstall iTunes and it goes around, goes around, goes around :x

Fire :icon_waffe07: at Apple and Microsoft!

Ah yea, I'm using my HP laptop.

I'd just disable that damn DEP.

Google for 'disable DEP vista' and you'll find what you need to do. ;)

    And stop using iTunes .

Use Foobar or Winamp instead :p.

Nah, use whatever is best for you, but when you try Foobar, you don't wanna go back. Get Foobar + iPod Manager, great free software.

But how can I install apps with Foobar, eh? :D

    I'll try that Buster! :)

Edit: Disabled DEP via CommandPrompt successfully, but... "iTunes has stopped working". Reinstall - now DEP doesn't show up at all, iTunes doesn't launch.

    1st thing I'll do - switch to Win7 ASAP.
    2nd thing - buy iMac.

With a Disable of DEP, removal of QuickTime, iTunes and all Apple related stuff and few other tweaks I got it working. Thanks everyone, problem solved !
