As the subject says the FTP is down currently. Sadly the HD is broken. It will be replaced tomorrow.
Sorry for any inconvenience.

I just got an e-mail telling that it isn't possible to repair it today. HD is definitely broken and some data are lost. But this doesn't effekt us, because in the case that the Planet-Mulitplayer lost some data, I've a complete backup in place.
So no need to worry, we just have to be patient :) .

Thanks for the update Borg.:grin::wink:
Well it's good if you got backups, I guess we manage until they'll get things repaired :)

Isn't a big problem, as long as the forum works fine it's okay to me :D
Good to see you got all backupped.
backing up data from a big hard drive is a pain in the you know what..
manufactures should start developing faster and more reliable hard drives

That's a fact. Computers can do a lot faster but the harddrives cannot take it.

They marked the bad sectors and took the FTP online again. I'm not able to upload, because this was disabled, but at least downloads should work.

Funny somehow, but only somehow ;) . HD was "borrowed" by someone and therefor a new has to be ordered. Finally tomorrow the FTP should be repaired then.
Anyway the old one is still working and only restriction is that I can't upload new stuff. All the old files are available as usual.

It took a while, but finally the new HD is installed and working flawless. All files I told that I would host are uploaded already. If I forgot one, then feel free to post ;) .
Great news, I'm glad it's working again fine ;)
Looks like you've forgot to add my Duster 340 1972 to GTA SA Downloads to the main site :smash: ;)

Nice to hear all is working again. The changing didn't involved much downtime which is a very good thing. Hopefully the new one has a long life ahead of him. Or her
