i don't want to be a moan or anything i just wanted to post a few car mod ideas.....if anyones interested??

theres 3 brilliant cars that noone has modded, i think peolpe haven't heard of them or maybe they domn't like them but i love 'em

if u do decide to model i'll help as much as i can, i can't model a box, :) the only thing i can do is add reflections...actually i've forgotten how to do that!!

Actually, the Zonda was a conversion from NFS 4, and Snow Racer never got permission to release it. :cry:

Yeah, he did start a Zonda, and finished it, but never released it...I guess he got irritated when Silver and the gang took so long to get the Mclaren in-game. :cry:

so basical iam not good enough yet to do a model just on ref pics yet so untill i find some blueprints or get really good ref pics i will have to put it off

however i have a two week holiday comin up and i have no car to model :P :P

I'd have to cast my vote for the Zonda...a true modern sports classic that desperately needs to be in Vice. You can find prints under the Misc. section at SMCars. ;)

i was trying to learn how to model but none of the tuts make sense...nothing seems to work properly.....its annoying
i can get to the part where i have drawn out the side on the blue print but when i try and make the front and try extruding the polies it dosn't work...
i don't know if i should continue........ i can't even make a box the top and bottom seem to be the same................sooooo confusing
may be i should just leave it to the proffesionals

thanks for the suport sticky, but i think i'll leave the modeling alone.....

i have two problems while playing gta now. thought i might aswell post them here instead of making two new topics:

one is on alot of modded cars the lights seem to appear as cubes all the time....is there any way to stop this???

the second( well actually it dosen't really apply to just gta but any game i run, about every 10minutes the window minimizes, which is really annoying........
if anyone could help me on either of these problems that would be great!!!

The cubes that appear on some lights are known as the "light dummies". These are the cubes that tell GTA where the light sources are supposed to be. Sometimes the dummy is incorrectly sized/positioned which means that you can see the cube...there's no solution for it, really, unless you open the .DFF and resize them yourself.

As for the minimizing, it means you're got spyware on your computer. I recommend downloading and running Lavasoft AdAware (www.download.com) and scanning your computer for adware. Also remove any conspicous software by going to Settings -> Control Panel -> Add/Remove Programs. Looks for anything like SaveNow and such; if you're running Kazaa, get Kazaa Lite K++. It's stripped of the adware. ;)

thanks for the help _LSD. i got that adware remover and removed loads of crap from my PC....but it still has the same problem.

and about the dummies i thought that was the problem to but isee it normal vehicles aswell .....
