Please Help

Hi, I'm new to MBWR and I have been trying to install all these nice cars but nothing works. :cry: I was wondering if someone could guide me through on how to put in custom cars. :)

First of all, you need to do a race after you have installed a new addoncar to unlock it. Did you do that?

If you can see the new car in the menu screen,but there is a picture of a lock beside the car,then you must complete one single race with any other car to unlock the new one.

If you do not see the new car in the cars menu,then the car wasn't installed in the right folders.

I assume you have winrar.This makes installing the add ons pretty easy. :wink: BTW,Welcome to Borg's Forums. :beer:

The problem is that I don't know if I'm installing the cars properly. I was wondering if someone could help me with that. :)

Lol, allright.

When you download a car, you get mostly a .rar file. You open it with winrar, and then you select the folders in it (autos, motoren, wr-editcars) and extract these 3 (sometimes you got only 2 of them) to your main WR directory. This is mostly C:\Program Files\TDK\World Racing .

When you've done that, you check in this gamedirectory if winrar did extract them properly. Sometimes it extracts them but it makes a new map in the main directory. Then you select the 3 folders (autos, motoren, wr-editcars) and you put them by your own in the main directory (C:\Program Files\TDK\World Racing)

Do a race and it should work.
