DreamCatcher has released a playable demo of Dungeon Lords, allowing you to try out this upcoming RPG. Dungeon Lords will be released in April.
Play as a Male Human, Urgoth or Wylvan as you venture through the dark and inhabited wilderness surrounding Fargrove. Your adventure continues through the intricate underground sewer system leading you to your first battle inside the Fargrove Theatre with the Goblin Mage. This demo features both Single Player and Multiplayer functionality.
To survive this large and lengthy demo and defend yourself from numerous enemies that you will encounter, you’ll be equipped with a wide array of weaponry including: swords, daggers, a bow and much more. In addition, you’ll be able to utilize a number of magic spells from summoning the undead, locust and rats to fire bursts and ice shards. Collect experience points as you progress and modify your character as you see fit.

I just played through the demo and have to say that this isn't surely the best RPG I saw ever but surely one with potential. And if they fix some annoying bugs like the melee combat, then this one could be worth to fill the gap until the big ones like Elder Scrolls: Oblivion or Gothic 3 will be released.
+ Interesting new character development system in which you can spent experience points to advance an ability or something else anytime.
+ Wide variety of spells and magic abilities.
+ Greatly animated spells
- Still some bugs
- Demo runs only in 800x600
- Not well implemented melee fights

Dungeon Lords is the latest game to come from role-playing designer D.W. Bradley, whose resume includes some of the classic Wizardry games from the late '80s and early '90s. His newest effort promises to be a hack-and-slash-style role-playing game, but one with a considerable amount of depth. You'll create a character, choosing from a variety of races and character classes, and then you'll explore a whole new fantasy setting, from towns, swamps, dungeons, forests, and more. Dungeon Lords is packed with combat, and you'll have no shortage of monsters and bad guys to slay. With the game in the final stages of development, producer Mark Harwood answered some of our questions.

Dungeon Lords is the latest game to come from role-playing designer D.W. Bradley, whose resume includes some of the classic Wizardry games from the late '80s and early '90s. His newest effort promises to be a hack-and-slash-style role-playing game, but one with a considerable amount of depth. You'll create a character, choosing from a variety of races and character classes, and then you'll explore a whole new fantasy setting, from towns, swamps, dungeons, forests, and more. Dungeon Lords is packed with combat, and you'll have no shortage of monsters and bad guys to slay. With the game in the final stages of development, producer Mark Harwood answered some of our questions.
