Hi Guys,
just tryied to play around with NFSU2 model of Ford Mustang GT. Got a nice stock version of it! :wink:

Still to go: 1. Minor graphic bugs
2. Wheels done
3. Material tweaking done
4. Physics done
5. Sound done

I agree with Geezr, it looks really great, but the sound and handling needs a little work. The sound of an Mercedes E/S/CL/ML/G500 isn't the sound of an american V8... that's more like the sound of the Viper.

Besides that the suspension is a little 'soft', he doens't like fast turning.

But a great beta! Keep up this great work.

If it's any help,listen to the sound of the '57 Ford Ranchero,that was converted to WR.That sound would be good for the Mustang. 8)

You don't even have to add the *.jpg file to winrar, just rename the file from MustangGT.jpg to MustangGT.rar and extract with winrar :).

I Don't know what you mean :?: I have test it, it works for me. Right click and save target as. Everything is OK.

true, if you get the extension in the filename. Here he was just named mustanggt so I had to put him in winzip, but if you can change .jpg directly into .rar then thats the way

I did a cockpit for this Mustang last night. The cockpit is based on the SL, but all textures are real.
I am sure you won't notice the different .
The motoring counter and the speedometer are worked.
But there are two things I haven't done yet.
1. The door looks like the one of the SL.
2. The steering wheel looks very bad because the texture was too small.

I haven't got a webspace, so I cant show you a pic. whoever wants to see one can send me a mail. (webmaster@stephan-dorn.de)

If you want to upload your pictures you can use www.imageshack.us. You
don't have to register and you don't have to take care of your uploaded pics
either, it's really easy.

If you want to keep them like a gallery, use www.photobucket.com , you only

Oh, it looks quite good...

But talking about realism, the GT40 has an offste speedo, just like the old one...
I'd happily take an unrealistic dashboard view over an unexisting, though ;-)

hmm... on each pic wich I have seen in the internet I saw only this speedometer. If you can show me the old speedometer I would make a version with the old one.

yes, I made a very realistic carphysik. furthermore I did the engine 4.0 V6 with 5 Gear Automatic.

btw. has someone big pics of the steering wheel (directly from in the front) or of a door?

If bednark has nothing against it I would send him the dash and the new engine and then can he release it with his car model.

I've found a pic of the instrumentals, but this pic is from the prototype.. is that what you mean? Steeringwheel is hard to find straight from in front.

Does anyone know why the lenkrad.ptx in the texture.syn doesn't extract itself? There comes always an error. :?

Maybe you should make the background a bit darker... Then, maybe, it would look less empty...
Nonetheless, this is better than most other dashes... Its not blurr or something... It'll be nice!

/edit: Especially the steering wheel itself is just perfect...

What good is a killer interior if the handling is impossible?? :P I use the hood cam so the interior is irrelevant to me,but a more V8 like sound and grippier handling would be greatly appreciated. :D

Hi guys,
Thanks to Mr.Wheeler (physics, dash) and J2C (sound) I will be able to release beta2. The file will be hosted in MBWR garage 2 by MK2 (Thanks again). As it gets ready I will edit the link in my first post.

Do you also have the see through lights bug? Or any other bugs to fix for the next hopefully final version?

Hi Bednark..........i can give you the motor sound for sure, but....i changed all of your driving physics......so you will have to change them back.........AND ADJUST YOUR SAMPLE RATE ACCOURDINGLY.......

YOU COULD SEND ME YOUR BETA 2 ........(to my e-mail)AND I CAN DO IT FOR YOU............OR..............

Hi Frank! Nah,I don't see a cockpit view either,but i use hood cam so I don't really care. :P BTW,watch the Mustang going around a corner,on a small hill,it likes to tip over. :shock:
