So, what are your impressions about this show? Or maybe someone has been there? Here are pics: http://www.worldcarfans.com/3081003.001/page1/2008-paris-motor-show-photo-album
Feel free to say your opinion about new upcoming cars.

My point of view. What's new here, eh? So, firstly - Audi A1. It looks great, very cool interior, it's great to see that company can think right, in this hybrid car era and so on. This car perfectly fits into the lineup of Mini Cooper and Fiat 500. Except the back of it - I don't know what they or I smoked, feels like a bit from Volvo C30, but worse. BMW X1 - damn, such a mutant in my eyes. Yuck, a modification from X5/7-Series and all that superminisized. And that shitty green colour... Stop it... I trusted BMW, but now I don't. OK, I see that they couldn't earn money from coupes or ///M technik, but this :-x
Ferrari California - name says all, brilliant car. No comments.
But next one, Lamborghini Estoque :-o that's something really special, reminds me Lagonda with 22'+ rims. Crazy for it.
Next one that makes me smile, in a good way is Lexus IS250 Coupe - like a precious dream, who cannot afford F California. Lexus really impress their selves and us, making a competition between Audi, BMW, Merc and Volvo coupes.
What ealse, emmm Mercedes Pullmann, ok it's extra long, but doesn't raise my emotions, Skoda Octavia Facelift, it's affordable and is  economical, theres a reason to buy it and there's Renault Ondelios Concept  night-cart with Reno badge, hope it stays as concept forever.

The Citroën Concept and the Lambo Estoque are my only highlights from that album.
Design-wise. Both look really nice imho. First time I'm seeing that Citroën concept car.

Anyway, not too interested into the Paris Motor Show but I like how they're working on
alternative engine types.

The Estoque is quite nice but not what I want from a Lambo with more than 2 doors. Make a new LM or make none. The Focus RS is quite a beasty thing, that Citroën is so nice I'd rip the Citroënlogo off :P , and I really hope the MB Concept Fascination gets enough positive reactions.

Further...well I don't like the California Ferry, it looks way too unferrari. Where's the time of the older models up to F40/F50? This really looks too cheap. I really hate that Renault concept with those huge wingdoors. The rear looks like ehm.. ''something's jamming the rear-exit''. Looks like it wants to drop that white thing outta there like an egg..

I absolutely agree with CLR in all points. Lambo should have better made a successor to the LM002, the Ferrari California is not that attractive as I hoped it to be.

What with you all pessimists? :) Lambo's a greeeat car, if not for us, than for Arab Sheiks and Billionaires.
About California we can spread our opinions, yes it's not continuing F40/F50 style, but hey, F40/F50 kinda aren't so production models, they are special anniversary editions, they just represent the factory. And, this is the lowest class Ferrari - competitor of BMW 6-Series, Mercedes SL, Porsche 911, while F430 does harder work and so does the others.

Well I don't say it's a bad car, but I don't think Lambo should go along with everybody, like porsche actually does. I'm creating an opinion for this looking at Panamera photo's and sofar that thing looks horrible. Now this one looks very nice, but I just rather see Lambo making something different, 2 doors, or if they do want 4 doors, maybe a new LM concept. Not a sedan. That's just my view.

And yea maybe it wouldn't be the perfect comparism with F40 to California, but it's just unferrari to me. It looks too cheap imo, it could have been badged with a much less exclusive brand and people wouldn't even doubt :P
