Though no official word has been given and the game is currently dubbed a "PS2 title," early rumblings (prior to the official announcement of San Andreas, even), mentioned the development of a PC version. Of course, an Xbox port is not completely out of the question. Timeframes on these iterations are entirely unknown. They could come out months or years later. Or, they could never, ever, ever come out. Either way, as it stands right now -- it's PS2 only.

i for one had enough of sony a long time ago. i once was
a sony lover.. i mean i cant even count how much money
i gave them in my first 25 years... but i know one thing, ill

wouldnt wonder me if they finally pull it off with an only ps2 version.
they tried it for gta3, gta vice and since those made so much money, what
better way to get everybody to buy a ps2 then to make it an only ps2 game.

No, GTA started on PC, and there will ALWAYS be a PC version; there will NEVER, EVER be a PS2-only version of GTA. ;) For one, do you think R* would have had nearly as much time to work on the next-gen GTA's if the PC modding community hadn't been around? Probably not. ;)

This is just what they do for all the new GTA's...PS 2-exclusive for a year with some shite graphics, then the PC and X-BOX versions later with enhanced graphics. Personally, I'll be glad to wait. ;)

I'll wait if I have to, but I won't enjoy having POS2 retards being able to play it first, and having friends with POS2's spoiling the game for us PC guys. To look on the bright side, at least it'll give me more time to upgrade my ever-aging PC :P.
